3 Years!
I never used to like the month of March because the weather was still cold and spring hadn't quite arrived yet. But for the past few years I've loved that we get to celebrate our anniversary in March because it gives us something to look forward to during the dreary winter months! And luckily, (just like on our wedding day) there always seems to be one weekend where the weather heats up right before it snows.
It's always amazing to me how each year just seems to go faster and faster, but I'm so grateful for every day that I get to spend with this guy! I've never been happier.
We kept with our tradition of staying the night at the Grand America and it was just as amazing as always. We absolutely love that place! When we checked into our room they had this cute little cake waiting for us.
It was delicious!
We spent some time at the pool
And the next day we went to Sunday brunch down in the Garden Cafe. We had both been looking forward to this since the last time we ate there, and it was just as amazing as we remembered.
After we checked out of the hotel we walked around temple square and took a tour of the conference center. It was such a beautiful warm weather and it totally reminded us of our wedding day!
For conference weekend, we decided to do a fun brunch at my brother Aaron's apartment since my other brother Scott would be down from U of U for the weekend. I found the recipe Kneaders french toast on Pinterest and I just had to try it -- and yes, that includes making the bread, too.
It was quite the process, but oh so worth it.
YUM!
