I'm almost positive that our school is the only place where our professors not only cook us a gourmet, 4-course lunch, but serve it to us too!
Our farewell lunch consisted of: spinach and carrot sformato, trofie with mushrooms, turkey with a sweet apple sauce and apple tart.
Oh yeah, and unlimited bottles of fizzy water... my favorite.
We'll all miss it.
Who wouldn't, right?

What a yummy dinner! You have to promise you'll keep posting these yummy dishes once you get home to the states (along with the recipes!). I can't wait to taste your gourmet food!
Ciao Erika!
I am so jealous. Your mom keeps me updated on your fabulous adventures in Tuscany. It's so beautiful. Your pictures make me homesick. The Italian dishes you are creating look amazing. I would love to try some of your recipes. There is nothing quite like Italian anything. I always make Italian lasagna from scratch on Christmas Eve. My family loves it. Next to lasagna, "cannoli" are my favorite pastries. Enjoy every minute you are there.
